I go by many names online but you can call me Flick. I am a 29 year-old woman from the Netherlands. The internet has always been a big part of my life. My first memory of the internet was when I was around 4 or 5 years old, using the dial-up modem to play flash games on the Cartoon Network website. I only had 30 minutes to use it, but I was hooked on the computer ever since while learning my first html on Neopets at age 9!

Soon enough I discovered anime via AMVs back when Google Video was still a thing. The 2000's anime art style is what inspires me to draw to this day! This is also how I discovered moe and visual novels and how I fell in love with the character designs, particularly Saya from Saya no Uta. Now that it is 14 years later, I have permanent moe brainrot because of it...

MY BRAIN

How would I describe myself personality wise? Well...for the most part I am extremely introverted and spend most of my time on my own. I am great at keeping myself busy by whatever I want to create and I get totally sucked in, so much I could entertain myself forever...

I went to college and graduated in graphic design, in between then and now I did some boring office jobs which sucked the soul out of me. I quit and then started attending my first artist alley in 2018 and have been doing it for 6 years now! I enjoy designing merch, however my true passion lies in character-focused media. I am currently debuting my new comic ‘Rotting to Live!’

My interests are quite limited, aside from drawing I enjoy nature walks and animals. I particularly love dogs, rats and parrots! Sometimes I collect Pokemon cards and I love music. My main focus is to just be a master on a a few set of skills rather than doing many different things.

I am quite an abravise person and tend to not have a filter. It gets me in trouble sometimes, but I guess that is just the side effect of being socially weird? I truly don’t hate most people. Sometimes the lack of understanding them is what frustrates me!

I am not that politically inclined and I am not a big fan of labeling and judging others for their beliefs. Unless you say or do undoubtfully awful things I hold compassion for all people. Generally in life I find it more important how you impact others around you. Do good for others even if they do not agree or hold the same beliefs.
